A

3.60 and higher

An A in a course is determined by the student presenting sufficient examples of work and assessments demonstrating level 3 and 4 for each Proficiency Standard, with a majority of fours.

B

3.20-3.59

A B in a course is determined by student presenting sufficient examples of work and assessments demonstrating a mix of level 3 and 4 for each Proficiency Standard, with a majority of threes.

C

2.80-3.19

A C in a course is determined student by student presenting sufficient examples of work and assessments demonstrating level 3 and 2 for each Proficiency Standard, with a majority of threes.

NP

Not Proficient

If a student has not earned a C or higher in the class at the endpoint of the term an NP will be reported on the progress report and online. “NP” letter grades will be reported at quarter and mid-term grading periods.

F

An F is reported on a transcript when a student fails to demonstrate proficiency. “F” letter grades will be reported at semester grading periods.
